In elementary school, our students work on understanding their own emotions and those of others, developing strategies to manage, express and recognize them in themselves and in others, in order to care for their own well-being and that of those around them.
We use active methodologies that encourage student participation, challenging them with tasks connected to their context or interests that allow them to develop their cognitive abilities while staying motivated and growing their curiosity and passion for learning through collaboration.
Through our NET virtues program, we develop strategies and tools that support students' social-emotional education and human formation. These strategies foster positive environments that bring virtues to life.
Goodness is shown through concrete examples so students recognize its benefits and are freely motivated to practice it. We promote discipline that is both firm and kind, taking into account students' need for identity and belonging.
We want students to use technology effectively and efficiently as a tool to increase their productivity, develop their creativity, communicate ideas and learn collaboratively, without forgetting the responsibility that comes with using it.
Through educational technology, robotics and the STEAM methodology (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), we encourage students to see technology:
As a useful and necessary resource for learning.
As a means to develop digital skills.
As a way to lay the technological foundations for the next educational levels.
In elementary school, students expand their vocabulary and learn to use English correctly at a high level, beyond functional use. We achieve this with reading resources used by native speakers in schools in English-speaking countries.
We educate at every moment, in every space and environment. Every opportunity, inside and outside the classroom, is used for an educational and formative intervention. We have a variety of resources that support this process:
Formative spaces and environments that are flexible, interactive and collaborative, fostering personal, transcendent and community learning.
Physical and digital educational materials that help enhance each student's abilities according to the expected graduate profile.
Educational technology that supports research and the creation of content and solutions.
By incorporating art and culture into different subjects, students put their skills and talents into practice and show what they can do in clubs and in a variety of artistic and cultural competitions.
In our physical education classes and sports clubs, students take part in physical and sports activities, proposing rules and new ways of playing together, valuing teamwork and recognizing equity and interculturality.
